The first thing I said was "You weren't supposed to understand him for most of the movie, you were supposed to understand him at the end of the movie" . This fan said "Oh.. I see what you mean now" and it got me thinking that maybe I didn't pay enough attention to the character during production because he was originally only supposed to be in two scenes in the entire movie he was the character that was going to be my little director cameo and that was it .
Now Victor Barclay has turned and been developed into a full fledged character. Victor has become a character that actually has a bigger role in the movie and that was based on the many changes that have been forced on myself as a writer during the first two movies and when I was writing Sins of Man III : Tribulation and I had to decide how I wanted to write the final chapters of this character because I had done a few things that were needed for the story of Sins of Man II : Vengeance and I couldn't write Victor out of Part III with out a definitive direction the character would take and it's one that I don't think fans will see coming .
I knew how the main characters would play out from Vengeance to Tribulation and the amount of lines Victor would have in this movie was one of the major reasons I stepped down as director so I can focus on delivering a good performance in what could be my final acting job .
